Havoc- Holidays Event!

For this holidays season, Havoc decided to prepare a little something special for you guys.

For the next 2 weeks ( ending January 2nd 2010), there will be portals added to each island, where you can hunt some holiday monsters.

Now this event is a bit different than the ones we normaly do. The monsters will be droping some holidays items, such as toy chests, pair of pliers, antique mirrors, saw, shovel, miner's pike, chemistry set, mrs claus' flowers, radian egg, etc. So this year, you will be able to get rewards 2 different ways. First, Npc Jack Frost, will reward you based on how many monsters you actually killed yourself( see below for more explaination on that^^). Secondly by bringing a specific amount of each 'holiday' items to another npc( Abominable Snowman) that will trade each set for a Crystal Shard. 10 Crystal Shards + a very special key, also droped by holiday monsters, unlock access to a VERY special new Holiday item!

The monsters will also be droping some smaller rewards.

Arakas:
- Silver Ring of Engagement, Flask of Goblin Blood, Sword of Fury, Wolftooth Necklace

Raven's Dust:
- Gold Ring of Engagement, Athena's Necklace, Ruby Staff, Emerald Staff, Sapphire Staff, Diamond Staff

Stoneheim:
- Chipped Azure Ring, Cloak of Armageddon, Dead Fishies, Rough Moonstone

Radan:
- Girdle of Insight, Blessed Water, Demon Wings, Flask of Foul Goblin Blood, Girdle of Insight

Artica and Akropolis:
- Demon Wings, Book of Fate, Book of the Lost Souls, Book of the Damned, Book of the Righteous, Book of the Saved, Jewelry Pieces sold in Akropolis Town


The Npc Jack Frost, located in LH temple, will be offering rewards for killing the holiday monsters. You can use your kills in a similar way as money. For example, you have 176 kills. You can decide to get the 100 kills reward, or to take a 50 kills reward and have 126 kills left to spend the way you want.

There are rewards worth the following amount of kills:
-50
-100
-200
-300
-500
-1000

For 50 kills, you can choose among the following rewards: Goblin Blood, Sword of Fury, or Jade Ring of Sorcery.

For 100 kills, you can choose among the following rewards: Christmas Hat or Snowball Quiver.

For 200 kills, you can choose among the following rewards: Mantle of the Elements or Monk's White Sash.

For 300 kills, you can choose among the following rewards: Staff of the Breeze or Staff of Storm.

For 500 kills, you can choose among the following rewards: Ancient Cloak of Brimstone, Ancient Cloak of the Monsoon, Ancient Cloak of the Seraphim, Ancient Robe of the Druids, Ancient Robe of the Heavens and Ancient Robe of the Nefarious.

For 1000 kills, you can choose among the following rewards: Bloodwood Composite Bow +3, Great Axe of the Fallen +3, Holy Morningstar +3, Danta Compound Bow +3, Dwarven Bastard Sword +3, Polished Kolbold Pike +3, Tungsten Saber +3, Tungsten Warhammer +3, Diadem of the Dark Arts, or an Armor Token( gives the possibility of choosing any of the enhanced armor parts).


Christmas Hat: No reqs, gives +3 AC and 5 to all Resists

Snowball Quiver: No reqs, 1-3 damage + a Snowball spell adding water damage.

Diadem of the Dark Arts : Reqs 612 intel, 59 wis, Bonus +15 AC, +30 Dark Power, +10 Dark Resist, +25 intel, -10 Air Resist, -10 Wis

I also wanted to remind players that those events are for everyone to enjoy. Yes the holiday islands are pvp ON. But don’t forget that the regular server rules still apply, such as excessive pking, vulgar language, ect.

For Arakas: 1- 35
For Raven’s Dust: 25- 75
For Stoneheim: 50- 110
For Radan: 100-190
For Artica and Akropolis: 170 +

All the portals are located at the fountain of the Island matching the lvl range, except for Radan – the portal is in town in a small house. There is also a portal on Artica at the fountain.

hmmm them kills, for example 500 kills 1000 kills need to be alot higher its just too easy for 2weeks there is way too many robes as it is and them 6th weapon items well it wont take long before there is like 20x of all, there is way to many items around on server as it is, like from last events such as halloween/v-day/last christmas. its no wonder people dont buy or sell anything anymore, i believe ayownage has told you this too. im still pretty mad as having cape of fidelity/helm of romance as a drop jeeez the value on them have gone way down so what if people have complained saying i cant get this item it should be a drop blah blah its tuff sh*t wait till next v-day...anyways enough of my complaints... btw ive come close to quitting many times but whatever...


p.s i aint saying it isnt good to have an event just needs to be a little harder no matter how short or long its on for..
